Queen of UK soul Beverley Knight goes back to her gospel roots. Joanna Newsom, harpist from Nevada City, is also in the studio. And Dizzee Rascal performs a track from his album Maths and English.

Bev will be performing 3 tracks from the new album, ‘Ain’t That A Lot Of Love‘, ‘No Man’s Land‘ and ‘Black Butta‘.

‘No Man’s Land’ fails to enter Top 40 Singles Chart

Beverley Knight’s new single ‘No Man’s Land‘ failed to enter the UK’s Top 40 Singles Chart tonight, scrapping in at #43. Hopefully this is due to the fact that everyone is gearing up for the release of her fabulous new album ‘Music City Soul‘ out in all good record stores tomorrow, Monday 7th May.

‘No Man’s Land’ Midweek Sales

Accrording to ‘Music Week’ regarding this week’s singles chart, Beverley Knight’s No Man’s Land (Parlophone) is the highest climber so far, jumping 80 places to number 43.

In the meantime, the album has peaked at number 26 on Amazon’s sales rank based on pre-sales.
